Fires, tires, birthdays and a shed.

Yes that's what we have been doing for the past week.

That big fire in Payson last week was at first great entertainment for my family (Yes we are BIG firebugs, we admit...we have a problem). The fire went from Friday night entertainment to driveway of terror within one hour. We ended up having to evacuate Tenneil and DJ, and DJ's sister and her three kids from their homes. And while it taught us a valuable lesson on what to take in that sort of situation...it didn't cure us from being fire bugs.

Saturday was my 30th birthday (crying in corner for a minute). We had dinner at Brick oven with Nicks family. We missed Alyse, and Ryan though who couldn't make it. Thanks everybody for the nice gifts!

Sunday was Dan's birthday. We got together at their house for chicken enchiladas....mmm good. We all had a good time visiting and enjoying mexican food and cake and ice cream.

Monday we were to celebrate my birthday with my family. Monica came to pick the boys and myself up when she discovered that she was very speedily getting a flat tire. Nick kindly helped us change the tire. But a few things went wrong..the spare itself had a leak, the bolt thingy (Like I know what its called) broke off, and so it was a three hour project getting the tires off and to the tire place and then back to get the van, and then back to the tire place. Our taco's that we had were very yummy and the cheesecake was delicious.

The rest of the week has been spent at my Mom and Dad's helping them put together a new shed. Its good for the boys to do projects...and we will be back at it tomorrow.
