Tonight we went to get a pizza for dinner. (Yes I think when I went to throw away the pizza box it was the third one in the garbage can, but so what its cheap and its Maxwell's favorite) Anyway back to the story. When we pulled up to Little Caesar's and parked, our lights were shining on an old couple. The old man was kneeling down and changing one of their tires, in the dark. I said to Nick "Oh that's sad". Nick knowing exactly what he should do said "I don't have my headlamp" I told him to just pull forward and shine the cruiser lights onto their car. We pulled forward and Nick got out and helped the old man finish changing his tire. While he was helping I thought about what a good example he was setting for his two little boys. This is not the first time Nick has helped people in a parking lot...and I doubt it will be the last. I am grateful to have married such a kind, loving, and generous person. And I am glad that my children have him to watch and learn from.

Horay for great dads! More kids need a dad like that!
Coming from someone who has benefited from his helpful tire changing skills. Good job Nick! Good job!
